Saorsa (Sa(y) -or-sa) means Freedom in Gaelic, and is a nod to my Scottish ancestors. I was born and raised on the breathtaking island of Cape Breton on the East Coast of Canada, a region that is deeply rooted in a culture that I hold close to my heart. I'm not sure if it's the sound of the ocean breeze or the way time just seems to slow down when you step onto the island, but there is a sense of calmness and freedom that washes over me every time I "go home". When I was creating my business I wanted the name to be reflective of this feeling, and the life that I was creating for myself, my family, and the women around the world I wanted to help.
